Why enrollees don't need
an ID card
|
If enrollees
would still like an ID card, they
can print one online
Just
go to our online benefits and eligibility
system, enter the enrollee's
ID/SS# and last name, and you will
be presented with a screen that displays
the enrollee's personal information.
At the bottom of the page, click on
the button that says "Print ID
Card."

Just as you no longer must present
a ticket at an airline check-in counter to confirm
your reservation, enrollees of Delta Dental's fee-for-service
programs (DeltaPremier, DeltaPremier USA, Delta's
Adaptable Table Programs, DeltaPreferred Option
and DeltaPreferred Option USA) don't need an ID
card to verify their Delta Dental coverage.
When visiting a Delta dentist, enrollees
simply provide their social security or identification
number. The dental office can use that information
to verify their eligibility and benefits through
Delta Dental's web site or toll-free number.
By not issuing ID cards to every client, we're able to minimize
administrative expenses, giving clients maximum
coverage for their dental benefits dollar. And with
these easy-to-use benefits, Delta Dental enrollees can
visit any dentist anywhere in the world and never
have to worry about forgetting an ID card for a
dental appointment.
