Five tips for getting the best service
from Delta Dental
- Use CDT-2005 codes on all claims with January 1, 2005 or later dates of service.
- Obtain eligibility and benefit information for your Delta Dental patients by using our Online Services.
- Make sure the information on paper claims is printed clearly and is dark enough to be read easily. This includes regularly changing the toner in your printer.
- Call Customer Service early in the day (7 to 9 a.m.).
- Submit claims to Delta Dental for a free predetermination of costs for extensive services or services that may be affected by a program’s limitations or exclusions. Predeterminations help the dentist and patient better understand the available benefits and the patient’s estimated cost.
