1. Delta Dental logo
Clicking on the Delta Dental logo from any web page
will take you to the Delta home page.
2. Home button
This button that appears on all web pages will also
take you to the Delta home page.
3. Site map, search and help
These tools are designed to help you find information
on our web site quickly. The site
map serves like a table of contents for our web site, breaking
down each section and what can be found in each one.
Our search
engine allows you to enter a keyword to find all documents that reference
that keyword. For example, keying in the words "claim form"
will produce all pages that include information about the claim form.
The help link will bring
you to this page, which helps describe how the site is structured, what
downloads you may need and other useful information.
4. Audience-specific sections
We break the content down on our web site by audience:
enrollees, dentists, brokers, and benefits managers. If, for example,
you are an individual enrolled in a Delta Dental plan, you would click
on the button labeled "Enrollees" for information specific
to you. You will see that the Enrollee button is in white text in the
image above, while the rest of the buttons have standard black text.
The white text indicates which section of the site you are in.
5. Sub-navigation toolbar
Each audience-specific channel has a customized toolbar
with links to popular features. This makes these features easily accessible
from every page within that section. For example, since the most frequently
visited pages for enrollees are the dentist directory and the benefits
and eligibility system, we provide links to those web features in this
toolbar.

Breadcrumbs
Below the top navigation header on each web page, you
will see a line that looks something like the one below (this one appears
on the FAQs page for enrollees):
Home>>
Enrollee>> Online
help>> FAQs
Like breadcrumbs, this serves as a path to show how
you navigated to the page you are on, and how you can get back home.
With the exception of the page you are visiting (in this case the FAQs),
each page noted in the breadcrumbs links you back to that location.

Left navigation
The navigation bar below appears on the left-hand
side of every web page to help you access the various sections throughout
our web site.
Like the sub-navigation described above, this left
navigation changes based on which section of the site you are visiting.
For example, the left navigation bar in the enrollee section is customized
for that audience, and would offer different links than the dentist, broker
and benefits manager sections.
Sections that are neutral, or not dependent on audience,
such as the About Delta (corporate information) section, contain the same
left navigation as the home page (shown at left).
The buttons for the audience-specific sections in the
top navigation take you to the same location as the audience-specific
sections shown at left.

Footer links
At the bottom of each page you will find two rows of links
that allow you to navigate to other major areas as well as access important
documents.
The footer links appear as follows:
